v1.0.2

English support

July 1, 2026

Added

  • Interface and notifications are now also available in English — switch from the Settings panel → Language (requires restarting the app).
  • The installer now lets you choose the installation language (English or Português Brasileiro), which also sets the app's default language on first launch.
  • A button to clear the player search field, both on the home screen and in the favorites list, plus ESC key support to clear it.

Fixed

  • Search in the favorites list now also filters players already favorited, instead of always listing all of them.
  • Non-favorite player results now show up without needing to scroll when the search finds no matching favorite.
v1.0.1

Player filter and finished-match control

June 29, 2026

Added

  • Player search field on the home screen — quickly find any player's matches, even in doubles.
  • A button to hide or show already-finished matches, with the preference saved between sessions.

Fixed

  • Fixed the score, server, and players showing swapped in some live matches, caused by an inconsistency in how one of the data sources returned compound surnames.
v1.0.0

First stable release

June 22, 2026

The initial release of Tennis Monitor, already with everything it needs to follow the pro tour straight from the Windows tray.

Core and navigation

  • System tray widget with a panel of the day's matches.
  • Integration with ESPN for match and player data.
  • Date navigation, with the range automatically adjusted to the selected tournament.
  • Category tabs — singles and doubles, men's, women's, and mixed.
  • Tournament filter, with support for multiple simultaneous tournaments, and a court filter.
  • "Today" button to quickly jump back to the current date.
  • Draggable window, with multi-monitor support, and configurable startup behavior.

Live scoring

  • Live scores combining two sources (ESPN + 365scores) for greater accuracy and update speed.
  • Real-time updates during matches in progress.
  • Visual indicator of who's serving, with a bouncing-ball animation.
  • Distinction between a match temporarily suspended (rain, set changeover) and one postponed to another day, plus identification of player retirement.

Look and customization

  • Light/dark theme, with the preference saved between sessions.
  • Colors per match category and a card layout with the score always aligned.
  • Collapsed mode with a live-matches ticker, and auto-hide — "pin to top" or "side tab" — to keep the app out of the way without having to close it.

Favorites and notifications

  • Favorite players list, with search and one-click starring right on the match card.
  • Event notifications (match started, set finished, game finished, etc.) for favorited players, with an animated banner and persisted history.
  • Notifications working even with the panel collapsed or in the tray.
  • Filters by notification event type and an in-app settings panel.
