Privacy Policy

How Tennis Monitor collects, uses, and protects the data of visitors to this page — in plain language, without skimping on the information the law requires.

Last updated: June 26, 2026.

Note: this document was written based on Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and reflects exactly what this page does today — it's not generic text copied from another site. Even so, it doesn't replace legal advice: if this project grows into a larger commercial operation, it's worth having it reviewed by a lawyer specialized in data protection.

Who handles your data

This page and the Tennis Monitor app are developed and maintained by VIZZIO INFORMÁTICA E SERVIÇOS LTDA (Brazilian company registry / CNPJ 13.813.110/0001-14), which acts as the controller of the personal data processed here, under Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018).

This policy covers only what happens on this marketing page. The Tennis Monitor desktop app, once installed, runs locally on your computer: it fetches scores from public sources (ESPN and 365Scores) and keeps your preferences and favorites only on your own device — it doesn't send us any of your personal data.

What data we collect

Data you give us directly, when you fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page:

  • Name
  • Email
  • The content of your message

Data collected automatically, while you browse this page, through Google Analytics:

  • IP address, device type, and browser
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral source (where you came from before reaching this page)
  • Specific events we log: clicking the download button, submitting the contact form, and clicking the WhatsApp button

We don't collect sensitive data (health, biometrics, racial origin, political opinion, etc.), and there's no sign-up, login, or payment on this page.

Why we collect this data

  • To respond to your contact — we use your name, email, and message only for this.
  • To understand how the page is used — how many people visit, download the app, or fill out the form, and where they come from, to improve the content and experience.
  • To measure ad effectiveness — the "Download" click event may be imported into Google Ads as a conversion, to evaluate marketing campaigns.

We don't use your data for automated decisions that affect you, nor do we profile you beyond what's described here.

Who we share it with

WhoWhy
Formspree, Inc. (USA)Processes and delivers the messages sent through the contact form
Google LLCGoogle Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads — page usage metrics and campaign conversion tracking
WhatsApp / Meta Platforms, Inc.Only if you click the WhatsApp button — the conversation then happens on their platform, outside our control

We don't sell or rent your personal data to third parties. These providers are based in the United States and may process data outside Brazil; this international transfer relies on the contractual safeguards and compliance certifications each of them publishes, in accordance with art. 33 of the LGPD.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish visitors and measure page usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies doesn't stop you from using the site or downloading the app — it just makes our metrics a little less accurate.

How long we keep the data

  • Contact messages — kept for as long as needed to respond, and for a reasonable period afterward as a record, following Formspree's retention policies.
  • Google Analytics data — follows the period configured in our GA4 account (currently up to 14 months per interaction), being automatically deleted or aggregated after that.

Information security

The contact form travels over an HTTPS connection. We don't store passwords or payment data on this page — there's no login or billing. Even with reasonable security measures in place, no system is 100% immune to incidents; if something like that affects your data, we'll notify you as required by the LGPD.

Your rights as a data subject

Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you can request, at any time:

  • Confirmation of whether we process your data
  • Access to the data we have about you
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data
  • Portability of your data to another service provider
  • Deletion of data processed based on your consent
  • Information about who we share your data with
  • Revocation of your consent, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, get in touch with us — see the contact info below.

Use by minors

This page isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a legal guardian's consent. If you're responsible for a minor and believe they've provided personal data through the contact form, please get in touch so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this text from time to time, to reflect changes to the page or to the law. The date at the top of this document always shows the most recent version — it's worth checking back once in a while.
